To be straight...I'm beyond proud of this project, and stoked to the tits to unleash this into the world. I love The Playground [one], but always felt something was missing. Which is the main reason why Part 2 is weeks past it's release date.

This was supposed to drop weeks ago, and I had a version just about ready, but something didn't feel right. Then at the end of a brainstorm call with Rob [muneshine] regarding another project we're working on, the concept for PG2 just...slapped us in the face, literally at the very end of the session. It was a magical moment that brought a certain excitement out of Rob and I, I don't think we've felt in over a decade. We basically outlined the entire mixtape right there, ultimately realizing this was no longer a mixtape. It was a universe. Truthfully, our lives changed after that call.

And now we get the privilege to present this to you. I am sorry for being late, but I truly believe you'll agree when I say it was worth it. I'm confident in saying THIS has never been done in Hip Hop.

I want to thank Rob for travelling to Saratoga County with me.
I want to thank the Chuck Thornton Estate for giving us permission to use Chuck's final traffic report.

I think this might be the hardest album Buck 65 has ever made. Not an ounce of fat on it. Every single thing about it is dope. But then every single thing about King of Drums and Super Dope is dope too. Still this might be my favourite of the bunch. I'm just happy Buck is back and making all this dope ass hip hop for us.
